Coolguy’s Retirement – The Reign Comes To An End

Disclaimer, this was a work in progress for a while so whatever the reason for me retiring from SWAT may be, even if it may not be a retirement, I do have the same message, nothing changes.

Hello SWAT, as you can probably tell from the title, I will be retiring from SWAT. As for armies well, I will not say that if the right opportunity occurred that I would not consider it as we are all human and I do not like saying things and then going against them later on and this may be in 2 months or 2 years or even 2 days or minutes and if I do know then I probably feel like it’s best not to be mentioned LOL so who knows. What I do know is that while there are few things in life that you cannot be sure of there is one thing I am sure of. SWAT has been a home to me since I joined back into this new generation and I will not forget it. I know we’ve had…and I, personally, have had some tough times in SWAT but I won’t say when or why exactly because it is in the past and we all move on from the past. However, I hope none of you forgets me despite me being in the past as I aimed to make a difference for each troop and while I am not delusional enough to think that I impacted everyone, I would hope that I have helped some of you in your SWAT journeys and I’ll always be around if any of you need me in the future because I genuinely do care for everyone in SWAT.

27/09-01/10 Agent Of The Week

Another week has flown by and as is tradition, another agent of the week has been crowned. Lets find out just who won these awards this week!

Well this week has been up and down for swat, from doing well on the weekends and perhaps falling during the week. However, this hasn’t stopped us nor made anyone less hungry or lose hope. In fact, it’s made SWAT and our agents more hungry with all of us going in hard for the legends cup. Let’s recap this weeks events. On Sunday we held a monster university takeover, then for ausia we hosted our second seasonal event of the month for our ausia troops. We then went out on Wednesday for a US event, the first of the week. On the Friday, we held one last training/takeover before our Legends Cup battle before taking on RPF on Saturday and emerging victorious.

Staff Of The Week Interview

Last week, was a busy week for SWAT and the battle for Staff Of The Week was a fierce one, with a couple of people in it to win it, battling it out for the role, working hard in/for us. However, it was Broona’s determination and hard work which clenched them the title of Staff of the Week

I decided to reach out to Broona to ask them about their journey in SWAT, their journey ato SOTW and about them as a person! Let’s get straight into it

How does it feel to be Staff Of The Week?

It feels pretty good! It’s always nice when you get recognised 🙂

It’s not your first time as an ‘OTW, what’s your secret?

A magician never reveals his secrets 😉 but I’ll say staying active is on my side.

Outside of SWAT, what are some of the things you enjoy doing?

Definitely going to the gym and gaming, also studying (don’t judge me by that)

Any games or studies you like in particular?

Minecraft and Valorant, top games for sure, besides that everything related to math has my full attention

You’ve been in SWAT for a few months now, do you have any favourite moments?

I wouldn’t say I have, but mammoth takeover and now getting top 2 were definitely two moments that stood out and showed what is swat and why it made me stay 🙂

What are your goals in swat? Where do you want to be by November?

Hopefully be a better staff and more involved so I can get even further and get promoted, definitely want to get hcom even though I know it will take a very long time and a lot of effort. But for now i hope to get at least one promo until November to prove myself that I’m getting better and doing what I need

Do you have any advice to those trying to become an OTW in SWAT

Mostly stay active in chat and attend as many events as you can! That will definitely help

Dragon Takeover 01/08/22 Ausia

On Monday we held a dragon takeover while invading yet another server to boost our empire. The SWAT empire is growing quickly and we don’t plan on slowing down. Not only is the empire growing but so is the army! Keep up the good work swat

Toboggan Is Ours! 22/07/22 Ausia Invasion

Today we invaded yet another server on the map. After the capture of Stone Cold, we set out for Toboggan as we aim to expand our empire even further. This event was an ausia invasion and also preparation for tomorrow’s big battle too. With the troops hyped for tomorrow’s battle, today’s invasion pushes our motivation to win even further! Let’s make sure we do!

Agent/Staff Of The Week 10-16/07/22

A new dawn, a new day, a new Agent Of The Week/staff of the week. Well this post has been coming for a while and we’ve been without an agent/staff of the week but now it’s time to award someone with this role once again

Agents have been working hard throughout the week, however, this week SWAT only held 3 events so this week will be tougher for people to stand out than our last AOTW. The 3 events we held this week were uniquely different from each other. One was an Ausia Winter Takeover which helped take our minds off the warm weather. Another was a ‘Creation’ event where we experimented with new forms and different tactics to see if they would work. The 3rd was battle training, in preparation for the tournament battle we have on Saturday the 23rd of July.

Despite only having 3 events, the people have been chosen and we’re about to find out who these people are!

EVENT OF CREATION 16/07/22

Today’s event was all about experimentation, creating all sorts of new forms, tactics and ideas so that we can test them out to see if they’d be good for future battles. We had fun and trained while testing out some forms. Good job SWAT.
