The trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised. Today, December 23, 2024, will be etched in SWAT’s history eternally. We have witnessed SWAT lie dormant for over a year, struggling to max 10 penguins under a leadership afraid of change and conflict. SWAT is a war army that has spent over a year avoiding conflict. This mediocrity ends today. In 2022, I led SWAT to max 67 in the US Division and max 40 in the AUSIA Division. In 2023 our legendary army carried army warfare by partaking in seven wars throughout the year in addition to World War IX. We ranked among the top three warfare armies, being offset by only 5 battles from the lead.
This is truly what makes SWAT so astounding. In the past, we witnessed so much glory on the battlefield. In addition to this, we reached #1 on the Top Ten twice. This most recent era of SWAT is not what we fought for, and it is time for a change. The light has shined and we have arrived to seize the future. We now have the triumphant team assembled to once again bring GLORY to the SWATRulers.
We have many new prestigious figures arriving at our glorious army’s helm. This new monumental era of SWAT will be under the leadership of Shazam, Kyle104, Mark06, and Maguro. Each of these leaders has a vast skillset and army history that is legendary in their own right. This leadership coupled with our incredible High Command team will propel us to the top. 2025 is soon dawning upon us and with this New Year comes a revitalization of SWAT. We shall rage conquest to the community once again and incite fear in the hearts of our enemies.
Take this as a call to arms to all SWAT Veterans and former members. If you are interested in joining us in making history do not hesitate to direct message me at “Stare3000” via Discord. Join us, fear us, it makes no difference. SWAT will reign supreme once again. We have reached incredible heights in past years and now we shatter the ceiling as we ascend even higher. We rise together, we fall together, SWAT Forever.

Rewind: SWAT’s 15th Anniversary
On June 30th, the 15th Anniversary Weekkicked off. The week saw 5 events with game nights and activities. After the week ended, on Sunday, SWAT hosted its 15th Anniversary Event, finishing the occasion. SWAT acquired a max of 20 at the Anniversary Event! Learn more about what happened
Concluding Season 7
Season 8, titled Season: Drive, went like any other season. The winner managed to complete all missions first, being time-bound. This fortunate individual was Leader-in-Training Zooy, who has claimed the Agent of the Month title for June 2024! Congratulations, Zooy! We thank everyone else who participated in the season. The story behind Season 7 will be posted soon, once we clear the backlog of past pending stories.
Introducing Season 8
Here it is—another attack. The cause is rumored to be Herbert. Puffles are lost around the island, while chaos and medical emergencies flourish. What is next?
Events V2
Events V2 will be deploying very soon to SWAT Bot! It shall ease the work of the SWAT Corporation and make event management and accessibility much more convenient. Currently, Events V1 certainly is adaptive to Club Penguin private servers, but not fully. Commands could be made more smarter and functionality could be interlinked. Some of the changes are highlighted below…
One command for a suite of event commands
Schedule, view, and manage multiple events at once
Faster and priority-based response time
Ability to cancel or end events without issues
Smarter, aesthetic, and easy-to-read responses
Easy room detection using room shorthands
Rewarding event attendees with a sum of coins
More flags for increased flexibility.
Empowering Recruiting
Members of the SWAT Corporation have been actively working towards recruiting and enlisting. These two tasks are one of the most fundamental duties, notably known for upkeeping future generations of the community. We have now adjusted monthly staff member requirements and have made several changes to our staff team.
Recruitment Profiles is another initiative we have brought forward. These are pre-made ready-to-use Discord accounts that can be used for recruitment purposes.
SWAT on Spotify
By the end of June, SWAT troops noticed a special Discord channel named #swat-music-board. Although the purpose was rumored to be unknown, its actual purpose was finally discovered during the Anniversary Week on July 4th, 2024. SWAT troops also noticed SWAT’s inclination to music over the past month.
Considering the large number of Spotify users around SWAT’s community, we are now available on Spotify! We will occasionally create beautiful music playlists to keep you chill. Spotify is a freemium platform for streaming and listening to millions of music and songs.
Thank you everyone for participating over the past month! Let us look at another beautiful month ahead, while we continually strive for progress.
Today marks a historic day in SWAT’s lifetime. We cherished the Grandest Event of 2024, and it was wholesome. This article covers everything about the Anniversary Week, and how it went.
The Anniversary Week kicked off with the first round of the Legends Cup XIV, where we battled against the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin. Although SWAT did not manage to win, we certainly practiced and brewed our skills. We pursued these skills against the Army of Club Penguin the next weekend, in the losers’ bracket of the double-elimination style tournament. We did not manage to win this either. However, during the week, we saw increased activity and sizes. At the very end of the week, which is today, we managed to acquire a size of 20. This is the highest reported size of the week and the event! We have not managed to acquire a size of over 16 since November 2023!
Immediately after the event, the community saw multiple SWAT troops receiving promotions and some were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Zooy was promoted to Leader-in-Training, and Mare was inducted as a SWAT Legend.

Without them, the week would have not been as memorable as it is otherwise.
Happy 15th Anniversary, SWAT! The SWAT Corporation
Welcome to a new edition of Veteran’s Perspective, where we highlight a veteran who was crucial to the success of SWAT. We will also get their take on the current state of the army as compared to it’s past. This week’s column will feature Mare. Although she is a one of SWAT’s more recent veterans, Mare has played a significant role in the success of the army.
Mare began her army career in 2020 where she was recruited to SWAT by Darklink. Due to her dedication, she quickly rose through the ranks and was granted a staff position. In April/May of 2020, she left SWAT to focus on One Direction Army along with Aubz, Frankie, and Izzy. This army went on to achieve maxes as high as 21. ODA also took part in Legends Cup X. Furthermore, Mare was responsible for negotiating a merge with a small army known as the the Fire Ninjas of Club Penguin.
ODA event during Mare’s leadership
Despite her success in ODA, Mare refocused her energy on SWAT during the Water Vikings war in July of 2020. During the war, she created the ED EF flicker as a weapon against their opponents. Mare referred to this technique as “photosynthesis”. Mare’s war efforts led to her leadership promotion the following month. During her tenure as leader, she helped lead other major wars including the Flash Nemesis War and Operation Templaria. Mare retired from leadership on August 12th 2021, approximately one year after her promotion. However, she returned to lead SWAT shortly after from the end of 2021 to the middle of 2022. During this time, she helped create the Western Block Alliance which saw an alliance between SWAT, Water Vikings, and Silver Empire. Furthermore, she helped lead another war against the Templars in October 2021 where Xing accused the WBA of being “Backstabbing Hypocrites”.
SWAT-WV battle on August 30th 2020. SWAT won with a 2-1 score
In late July of 2021, Mare founded the Dua Inn Lipa Fighters as a meme army. However, they quickly reached 7th place in CPAHQ’s top ten, and maxed over 30 at a few of their events. Her persistent leadership throughout these armies led to her S/M army legend induction at the end of 2021 after receiving 11 votes. Mare also revived DILF in February 2023 for their second generation.
Aside from leadership, Mare is also a prominent CPA judge. Since 2020, she served in various leagues including Sub Zero Army League, Club Penguin Army Network, and the current league Club Penguin Armies. On April 30th 2023, Mare became a new head judge after exceeding the 75% voting threshold.
The Director Dispatch reached out to Mare for an exclusive interview. Take a look at what she had to say!
Who or what led you to joining SWAT, and did you have any mentors during your tenure?
Previous SWAT leader, darklink, found me on the CPO discord and offered me a staff position in SWAT in April 2020! I mainly looked up to my best friend, Aubz she was a LIT at the time:) Afterwards, we rejoined SWAT again and I got up to leadership position. I looked up to a lot of people while leading too ganger, oli, sammie, & aubz. Coolguy was helpful as well during the time he became active he taught me how to chill out when things got chaotic.
In what ways is the current state of SWAT similar to when you were leader, and in what ways is it different?
Well, a way that it is now vs when I was leading was we had so many of us… Like we had Ganger, Coolguy, Firestar, Kaliee, Aubz, Lego, and me at a point which was a lot of people. Also keep in mind, a lot of us are very opinionated people hahaha, but it was fun! Now, there’s only Lego, Aisha & Ganger leading, but he’s doing a great job at it and holding it together from what I can see.
What were some of your most cherished memories and/or accomplishments during your time in SWAT?
When we were at war and the whole server had a red theme it was really cool!! I like don’t remember too much but def that was my fave moment
What are your overall predictions for SWAT’s future?
No clue really, but probably are still gonna be a major army through the entire year and hopefully do well!
Mare has certainly proven herself as a dedicated and strong asset to not only SWAT, but every army that she led. She continues to make her mark on the community through her moderation position in CPA as well as her judging affairs. We at the Director’s Dispatch show our gratitude for all of Mare’s contributions to SWAT.

Welcome to the first edition of Veteran’s Perspective! Each week, we will highlight a SWAT Veteran who was crucial to the success of the army. We will explore their army history both in SWAT and in the community at large. Furthermore, our Director Dispatch team will inquire about their opinions on the current state of SWAT as compared to its past. This first column will feature Stare3000, a SWAT Godfather, who has been in SWAT since 2009, the same year it opened!
Stare3000 joined SWAT as one of its first troops in late 2009 but only became deeply involved in 2011. Their loyalty and dedication to the army allowed them to rise quickly through the ranks, earning the position of Leader-in-Training. In 2012, they stepped down from LIT before returning to their rank in late 2013. Furthermore, Stare3000 joined Reeces2011, Raprocks669, and Alina as SWAT Commander-In-Chief in the middle of 2014. Under their initial leadership, SWAT achieved max sizes ranging from the high 20s to the low 30s. Stare3000 retired from their leadership position in September of 2014 and was awarded SWAT Legend, before going on a hiatus until 2020.
Upon Stare3000’s return to the community, they rejoined SWAT for the first time in the discord and CPO era. This marked a period of instability, including then-leader Zuke being couped as well as a merger with the Doritos of Club Penguin.
After their retirement, Stare3000 found a rotten mango on the floor at work. This inspired them to create the Mango Corps with Panini, Kaliee, and Smoke where they maxed 20 on average and were famous for their 3 am events. In Mango Corps, they engaged in battles with the Recon Federation.
Stare3000 soon became Commander-In-Chief for the second time. They would lead wars against the Water Vikings and the Superstars. Despite their success, Stare3000 decided to step down from SWAT leadership in October. Upon retiring, they were awarded SWAT Godfather, the highest honor one can receive in the army. Following this they were muted on countless accounts in Club Penguin Army Hub due to admins avoiding their genuine concerns.
Stare3000 would return temporarily to SWAT in November to lead and assist SWAT in achieving a max 42 at their practice battle with the Army of Club Penguin. This would go on to be the highest max of the current CPPS generation at that time. They would eventually go on to retire once again but still remain present until February of 2021 when they would depart from the SWAT Discord alongside the SammieDC.
Stare3000 would eventually return to advise amidst the Operation: Templaria war in 2021, as well as being carried in Castle Crashers by Legoman and Firestar08. They would go on to fall inactive shortly after the war’s conclusion. Stare3000 would have advisory stints in the army throughout 2022 and 2023. Actively participating in the Undertaker Crusade, and notably offering their expertise as far as developing a points system.
Stare3000 has always brought a fresh and innovative perspective to SWAT and unwavering resilience in the face of all trials and tribulations. SWAT is eternally grateful for their past and present contributions and will honor them forever.
The Director Dispatch reached out to Stare3000 for an exclusive interview. Take a look at what they had to say!
Who or what led you to joining SWAT, and did you have any mentors during your tenure?
I was 9 and I saw penguins and I thought it was cool, and I’d say Ganger was the closest I had to a mentor but I’ve learned from everyone I’ve been in armies with
In what ways is the current state of SWAT similar pre-2017, and it what ways is it different?
Not much is the same, I guess we still use a similar uniform but it’s a lot more organized and streamlined now. Over the last 3-4 years SWAT has turned itself into deep community while retaining its roots as a penguin army. Armies as a whole are completely changed.
Could you elaborate in what ways specifically SWAT has become more of a deep community?
The loyalty seen now from a lot of members(with notable exceptions) is very different than the past, while previously we would see people hop from army to army now we have people dedicating their entire army career to SWAT.
What were some of your most cherished memories and/or accomplishments during your time in SWAT
My most cherished accomplishment would have to be becoming Godfather. And uhhh cherished memory….
What did getting Godfather mean to you given all that you have done for SWAT?
It was a pretty big achievement, it meant I had finally achieved the highest honor of a community that means quite a lot to me
What are your overall predictions for SWAT’s future?
Gonna hit 1 on TT a few more times.
It seems as though Stare3000 has had an exciting and adventurous army career thus far. Their determination and loyalty to SWAT continue to be an amazing asset for the army. We at the Director Dispatch send out a massive show of appreciation to Stare3000 for all of their loyalty and continued service.
What else wouldYOU like to know about Stare3000? Which veteran would you like to see featured next week? Feel free to let us know YOUR thoughts in the comments below!HOO RAH!
Yesterday afternoon, the Special Weapons and Tactics and the Templars signed a peace treaty, signaling the end of the war between the two armies. This marks SWAT’s third war of the year, after ending their conflicts with the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Penguins of Madagascar respectfully. According to Dawn, Templars leader, the rationale behind the war was to reclaim their server Jerusalem. In a turn of events, the Templar’s intentions were leaked to SWAT. This allowed Legoman to declare war simultaneously with the enemy army.
Following SWAT’s successful invasion of Alexandria, the two armies agreed to the terms of the peace treaty. The terms state that the treaty will remain valid for at least two months. However, the armies may extend or shorten the treaty if they both consent.
Terms of the treaty
The Director’s Dispatch reached out to some of SWAT’s troops/agents to get their opinion regarding the end of the war. Here is what they had to say!
What are your thoughts on the war coming to an end? Do you feel that the war should have gone on longer, or do you think it was a good time to end the war?
Well first of all it was a great experience to be in the war. It was really good and sometimes it was hard but we got through it from the great leaders. The war coming to an end is really a win we fought we worked and here we are ending the war with a success. I feel proud ending the war and winning. We finished the war with pom a couple of months ago I feel like it’s time to finish the war and start with an another army because it’s been a long time fighting with TCP and it’s a good time to end
– Fwapo, Staff in Training
Well honestly i would prefer if the war will be less long because we need some more practice event because just before the war against tcp we fought pom and we need a break bc they are taking that to our advantage. and a other thing about the war ending is that new recruit could actually understand the game because if i was them i just joined but people say LOG ON WE NEED TO BEAT TCP WE NEED TO MAX 35 or some i will be lost so yea now we can actually help new player and have fun in swat !
– Atrix, Staff in Training
I believe that it was a quite justified choice to sign the treaty, we were losing some land during us/uk events. We could’ve gotten land back with Ausia events but we can always conquer more land later. So I guess it was a good idea to cut losses and this also lets us have more fun/recreational events.
– Zooy, Head Officer
We should of went to war longer. Why? More land. But if the armies are settled and made a treaty I guess I don’t have a say in how they work with each other.
– Ggogle, Head Officer
What are your predictions for future SWAT-TCP relations?
So first of all let’s start with swat I’ve been with swat for almost a year now every second swat grows and the staff and staff in training are very good and interesting and as a part of them we are expecting a really good future for swat and as we are doing really good in events swat is gonna have a really interesting future. As for TCP we are not expecting a bad future for TCP because they are at war with us or was at war with us but they are doing well sometimes they win and some we win TCP is gonna have a balanced future as well but not as well as swat why? Because swat is growing way faster.
– Fwapo, Staff in Training
Well tbh i think for only few month there will be again a little bit of hate because they are ally with our enemies but if G90 and Xing could talk in private like tell what they don’t like what we should improve on both side they could get a good chemistry but first we need to end the war against pom to even try to talk to Xing.
– Atrix, Staff in Training
We will probably stay as enemies but we will probably be on good terms for a while due to our mutual belief that the judging system needs to be revamped. Maybe we might become just like competitors but not enemies which could let us be able to learn from each other’s ways we use to improve our armies. Who knows, only time can tell.
– Zooy, Head Officer
My guess from other wars with them, war won’t stop with TCP until one retires.
– Ggogle, Head Officer
It seems as though the two armies have reached a point of civility for the time being. What do YOU think? Have SWAT and the Templars achieved peace, or will they clash again in the near future? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. HOORAH!
The Special Weapons and Tactics army recently had an extraordinarily eventful week which culminated in us hosting a whopping 12 war battles and rising to #1 on the Club Penguin Armies Top Ten for the first time since November 15, 2015. Using my trusty Bing browser, I determined that it had been 7 years, 4 months, and 18 days since our previous placement in first. 385 weeks of faith, 2,695 days of hard work, 64,680 hours of recruiting, and 232,848,000 seconds of loyalty outvaluing everything has made this possible.
This is an extremely eventful occasion for the army, so to celebrate it I have reached out to past and present members and compiled their statements regarding this achievement. We were able to obtain statements from FIVE godfathers, as well as numerous veterans and current rising stars within SWAT. If you would like to have yourself added to this list, please contact @Lego#0200 and I will update this post to include your testimony!

“I would say that swat being number one doesn’t mean we are the best army, but it means we are getting closer to the goal of the best. But if we also wish to keep the number one spot, it would probably help us in the goal of being the best.”
— Boba Fart, SWAT Staff
“I think it’s a nice change of pace for swat. They have a big reputation of having their reputation dragged for a whole slew of things and typically is looked at with contempt. Something like this is amazing I think and hopefully going forward swat has more to show to change the public perception of the army. I’m proud of the people who made it happen and think the army is going in a good direction.”
— S Cargo2, SWAT Godfather + Legend

— Akio, SWAT Staff + YouTuber
“swat getting #1 is something thats so special to a lot of us who have dedicated so much time. i am so proud of all of us who put countless hours into club penguin, and even though some of us may be failing in school (me, miserably), this shows us how much hard work actually pays off and the result of a strong team that swat clearly has <3 maybe 50 minute ausia events arent that bad after all”
— Sabre, SWAT HCOM + Pronoun Police
“SWAT was a home for me during one of my darkest days in the start of COVID. This army was my home and my place to have friends and still is. We’ve been through a lot these past years. For me every member as their own story and they make their own part of SWAT’s history. Seeing as SWAT is on the top of the leaderboard it brings me hope for the future of the army. Everybody knows that I’m not active in the server anymore but it doesn’t mean that SWAT doesn’t have a special place in my heart , it will always be there. Just that I’ve moved on from Club Penguin. It brings me joy and nostalgia to see a very close community of mine fighting their way to be the very best. It means that everyone has dedication and I still can’t thank the army enough for helping me and every member of the community. Neither to say SWAT is the best army and will always be , it’s thanks to the amazing community and hardworking individuals. SWAT FOREVER.”

— Mickey Mouse, SWAT Devoted Troop
“It certainly feels good! I’m pretty new in SWAT so i cant say that i feel a huge emotional attachment yet to the army [despite my undying devotion to LEGOMAN]. However, it is a testament to the hard work that everyone has put in to achieve this goal!”

— Dusk & Evening, SWAT Devoted Troop
“For me getting #1 means that we have come far as an army and recovered from losses like the one of CPR. Coming this far as an army and being in said army during it is such an honour, I remember joining in 2021 during march madness there were also recruiters from HF trying to recruit me but i joined SWAT and here we are today now that is one small step for a man one giant leap for a crackteam of penguins thank you for your time yours sincerely WilliamW2010”
— WilliamW2010, SWAT Staff
“It feels like such a satisfying moment for SWAT, it’s just amazing to come back to SWAT and see it thrive after so long. SWAT is one of the longest standing armies, and we aren’t just surviving army; We are a thriving army. It’s beautiful and amazing; I hope SWAT continues to thrive.”
— Zooycuddle, SWAT Staff
“I think that shit is badass seeing SWAT up and running still taking over the boards. Watched this army grow for 11 years, so to see them still alive to this day is awesome. Especially seeing there’s a lot of the same family/legends from back in the day. Wouldn’t have chose any other CPA 💪🏽 SWAT forever 😎”
— Domsamillion, SWAT Godfather + Legend
“I enlisted in SWAT thanks to Pandor, and one of my objectives was to assist SWAT in becoming #1 on the TT. Although I am not necessarily enlisted, I have witnessed the effort that all of the SWAT members, HCOM, Advisors and Leaders, and of course Ganger90, put forth. I’d also like to thank POM for starting this war. As always, SWAT has not allowed our enemies to win easily and has consistently fought back, as evidenced by the war’s scoring. We appreciate everyone who came out to the events that enabled us to accomplish this; each of you matters and made it possible. Thank you SWAT…I kissed him💀oops”
— AishaJabz, SWAT Egirl + Satchmo’s Ex
“Though I wasn’t in the CP Armies circuit long enough to become super familiar with this top 10 competition or how it works, the name makes its significance pretty clear. When I left SWAT and CP Armies for my still ongoing hiatus, the army was having some pretty notable numbers issues. I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t have a whole lot of faith in SWAT at that time, but I’m glad to say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised. SWAT was always conceptually one of the greatest armies in the league, and it’s good to see them living up to their reputation. Keep up the good work, troops!”
— WTZTBlaze, SWAT Veteran
“For me it’s the greatest achievement for SWAT bc since 2015 it was pretty difficult I guess to reach #1 and since I joined SWAT It’s the best feeling we can experience”
— Seu11, SWAT Veteran + HCOM
“GRRRRRRR – (translates to: ‘UwU I love SWAT and l-legoman x3 meow’)”
— Mare, SWAT Veteran + Furry
“🥺Uhhhhhhhhhhh Took you long enough…Proud of you”
— Stare3000, SWAT Godfather + Legend
“When I was indicted as SWAT Commander at 16 years of age, I had a strong determination to see SWAT succeed and flourish. It has been a bumpy road but just over two years following my original induction into leadership we have accomplished this covered honor within the community. SWAT could not have done this without every single staff, troop, HCOM or advisor. This is not the success of one individual person, it is the culmination of the team’s phenomenal efforts to bring glory to our legendary army. This placement will mark a new era within SWAT, and if we continue to put in the effort we will reap the rewards. Shoutout to Ganger90 and Stare3000. We rise together, we fall together. SWAT Forever.”
— Legoman, SWAT Greatest Leader + Legend
“I think that SWAT getting number 1 is something that has certainly been a long time coming for everyone here. As Club Penguin Armies have evolved and changed over time, I am so proud to see the continuous greatness that this army displays to the community no matter what’s going on, the legacy that it upholds and solidifies while creating their own. Of course there’s been countless moments where while we were not ranked #1, we knew and felt that SWAT was the strongest army. The new era that is being built here everyday is full of limitless potential, from the Staff, HCOM, Staff in Trainings, Advisors, new troops, and future leaders. We know how much work you all put in and how much you care about SWAT. And of course we cannot forget all our great legends and veterans of this army. I’d be understating to say that the sky is the limit, and words cannot describe how proud I am of all of you carrying this army back up to #1. @Lego uwu”
— Ganger90, SWAT Creator + Godfather + CPA Legend
All these testimonies show the phenomenal impact that our army and community have had throughout the decades. SWAT had outlived, outfought, outperformed, and outlasted all expectations. People have tried to bring us down but we have never let the negativity keep us grounded. SWAT does not intend to go anywhere. Myself and Ganger90 have the honor of being the first individuals to lead SWAT to #1 in the CPPS era, and none of that is possible without our terrific troops, stupendous staff, hard-working high command, and ambitious advisors. As your Commanders-In-Chief, we shall do everything in our power to ensure the continued success of this unconquerable army.
Disclaimer, this was a work in progress for a while so whatever the reason for me retiring from SWAT may be, even if it may not be a retirement, I do have the same message, nothing changes.
Hello SWAT, as you can probably tell from the title, I will be retiring from SWAT. As for armies well, I will not say that if the right opportunity occurred that I would not consider it as we are all human and I do not like saying things and then going against them later on and this may be in 2 months or 2 years or even 2 days or minutes and if I do know then I probably feel like it’s best not to be mentioned LOL so who knows. What I do know is that while there are few things in life that you cannot be sure of there is one thing I am sure of. SWAT has been a home to me since I joined back into this new generation and I will not forget it. I know we’ve had…and I, personally, have had some tough times in SWAT but I won’t say when or why exactly because it is in the past and we all move on from the past. However, I hope none of you forgets me despite me being in the past as I aimed to make a difference for each troop and while I am not delusional enough to think that I impacted everyone, I would hope that I have helped some of you in your SWAT journeys and I’ll always be around if any of you need me in the future because I genuinely do care for everyone in SWAT.
We’re back with another post and with MM being held on Sunday, I thought it’d be good to go through our history in tournaments this generation. I hope you all enjoy the post! Well, let’s get into it.
SWAT reopened in May 2020, giving SWAT and brand new life. This reopening of SWAT saw old and new faces gather around to celebrate this joyous occasion with many people reminiscing on the past while others were thinking about SWAT’s future which looked bright. Since then, SWAT has stayed alive and has been involved in many tournaments.
Our first tournament was the legendary Legends Cup tournament. We faced our brother allies, Golden Troops in the first round. We beat them 3-0 in the first round to progress onto the second round.
The size difference for the battle was 5 with swat maxing 20 and GT, 15. The next round, however, would prove to be a lot tougher as SWAT would go on to face the Dark Warriors. They were able to get an astounding 55 penguins online while we only were able to maintain our size from the first round which made it a lot harder to grab the win. This meant that DW took advantage of the size difference and capitalised, taking the win.
Our next tournament was the Beach Brawl in July 2020, originally we were battling Silver Empire on the 19th of July, however, this battle was cancelled mid-way due to botting. A picture of this battle is below:
SWAT had the upper hand in this battle, especially in this picture as you see the Silver Empire try to circle us but this didn’t go to plan for them. This battle was rescheduled to a bit later, however, with less hype, SWAT and SE were very fierce when competing. Both armies had close sizes and both had moments where they could’ve won the whole thing. However, only one could be victorious and despite our efforts, Silver Empire proceeded onto round two.
The next tournament was Fight or Fright held in October 2020
This tournament saw us compete against the Ice Warriors for a Halloween-themed tournament in the first round. However, this tournament run was short-lived as we failed to beat Ice Warriors but gave it our best shot.
Since October had passed and since opening we had been involved in many tournaments and wars and November was no difference. At the end of November, we had our first Christmas Chaos battle against the Pizza Federation. This battle, despite how many people will think, was actually pretty close and not one-sided. Despite SWAT, on paper, being the better army, Pizza Fed showed up for real and made sure to bring their best in this battle. However, while they were trying their best, they were also doing it successfully. This gave them this win in the round.
The next tournament, however, wouldn’t be until March when the March Madness (2021) took place. With many changes within swat, we were prepared for the tournament, taking on PIC in the first round and winning, however we lost the second round to the Ice Warriors. However, we were in the top eight against a tough opponent who we gave our best against. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to beat the warriors.
The next “tournament” we participated in wasn’t actually a tournament but it was Project conquest in June, like how the map works, armies got to pick servers and then would choose to invade other armies but also defend their own land. With that said, SWAT started off by invading the Red Ravagers, however, we soon withdrew from the tournament after many issues arose surrounding it.
The next tournament was the Legends Cup, this was the second time in this generation that we stepped into this competition, however, the run didn’t last long. We were against Secret Service in the July LC first round. Unfortunately, we fell out of the tournament in this round.
The next tournament was the Christmas Chaos in December. This time we aimed to get further and try to win. In the first round we faced the Red Ravagers and beat them after a close battle, surprisingly.
However, we had to compete again to solidify our place in the second round as the first round for us was deemed as the qualifiers. However, we were matched up against RPF and were outnumbered, ending our run in the CC.
The next tournament wouldn’t be until July 2022 where we would take part in the beach brawl. This saw us partake in 3 battles in 1 event, we faced Ninjas, Magma Clan and Lime Green Army, in that order. We were able to beat Ninjas but fell short against the rest of them for some reason. No pictures are available from our site for these battles so who knows what may or may not have happened.
The next tournament would be the Legends Cup once again and this time we faced the mighty RPF. We went intot his battle full force and aimed to win. We gave it everything we had in this battle and we came out on top with the win. However, we were later disqualified from the tournament because of something that happened prior to the battle.
We did get a chance at redeeming ourselves later in October though, we participated in the Monster Mash tournament against five other armies. We went into this wanting redemption and to give it our all and we did just that. We laid it out on the battlefield for all to see and we took home the trophy (that was never actually made for us…) With a max of 27 we looked much bigger and dominated the competition, beating out everyone in our way!
The next and last tournament that we participated in was the Christmas Chaos. We truly went into this, just like the legends cup, giving it everything we possibly had, giving it our all and wanting to win. However, against the RPF who were out for revenge, it was not enough to overcome them. We gave it our best effort and can be proud of the fight we gave them with a max of 40 penguins!
That just about wraps up all the tournaments that this generation of SWAT has participated in and we are proud to have come this far. While we may have only won one, we broke records within SWAT along the way and we aim to do that once more with the upcoming March Madness competition. The Templars currently stand in our way as we aim to make history within SWAT once again and go further than SWAT ahs gone ever before and done better than we have ever done before. Let’s go out there on Sunday and win it!
The Journey started long ago and we have been fighting ever since SWAT was created for war wins, for trophies and to be the best. March Madness is now on the horizon and we must aim to win. But what is SWAT’s history in the tournament? Well, let’s find out!
