This week has without a doubt been the most successful week since my return to the SWAT Army. We are simply the best and we continue to prove that with each and every event. It’s no secret that the Legends Cup is just around the corner – with a little more preparation, SWAT will be a heavy contender this year. For now, let’s look at the week we just had!
Attention, Agents! Today the wider army community held the second annual Pride Parade! Almost every single army in the community readied their browsers to show support to the LGBTQIA+ folks in our community, cementing the Pride Parade as an annual tradition. I am so very proud to be leading such an inclusive army in a time where more and more people are accepted for being different, for being themselves. I, personally, am bisexual and have been out since 2016 and for the past six years seeing this community’s attitude change is really something else. Thank you all for being so amazing.
SWAT tied for first place with the most amount of troops in attendance, cementing not only that we do not need our allies to carry us (something we have been criticised for in the past) but that we truly are a force to be reckoned with. It’s only up from here, everybody!
With that, I am proud to end this post with pictures from our event:
